My mission on Benjamin Button. Stress & The Body.

019F1576-AFBF-4613-8B65-85AB88D95701Have anyone seen the movie Benjamin Button played by Brad Pitt. Movie is about a man Born under unusual circumstances, Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt) springs into being as an elderly man in a New Orleans nursing home and ages in reverse.

Of course that doesn’t happen in real life. However, stress can do the opposite of Benjamin Button reverse of getting younger in age. Why I’m talking about stress today and the affect on the body? Stress is a silent killer and its affects the entire body from head to toe. Inward and outward. Which I’ve experience. Thanks to Jehovah I didn’t fall asleep in death by it.

Another reason why, I’m talking about this. Is because in the course of 5 years “ you must’ve look a lot younger and lot thinner”. An observation was made. However, there’s a lot truth in that observation.

I am on a Benjamin Button mission. No I’m not trying to look 17. However the statement of this doctor is true. Stress has cause me a lot of health issues. Some those health issues are not directly from stress but underlying causes. Such as (RA) Rhematoid Athritis, which when your body’s defenses – your immune system – targets your joint linings. RA affects joints on both sides of the body, such as both hands, both wrists, or both knees. This symmetry helps to set it apart from other types of arthritis. It can also affect the skin, eyes, lungs, heart, blood, or nerves. (According to WEB MD).

Stress is part everybody’s life, one will experience it one way or another at a point in their lives. What’s more important, is how you deal and cope with stress.

Living with RA (Rhematoid Athritis) and stress. One of ways to alieviate inflammation and the pain, is by exercising and rest. Hence, not doing these things could take a toll on a person’s body.

Thus, the opposite of not exercising and getting enough rest, could definitely do the opposite to a person without RA. How much more with a person living with RA and other illnesses and in addition to stress.

As I mentioned before  I’m on mission of Benjamin Button. In previous post, I’ve been sharing my eating lifestyle and doing Boot Camp at TGF (TrueGrit Fit). It has been proven by having a healthier eating lifestyle and exercise, could reverse several illnesses. As well improving someone’s over health. Looking and feeling better when you avoid stress and cope with stress appropriately.

Overall, that’s my mission of Benjamin Button. I’m doing the best I can to eat healthier and exercise regularly, and managing stress. It will definitely help with the inflammation and pain from RA, but not cure it. As there’s no cure for RA at this time, adding these things to treatment plan with your doctor will make living with RA with some relief.

As result incorporating those things fore-mentioned, will help me to have a healthy body weight and look and feel younger. My case of Benjamin Button.
